Hydraulic wrenches usually use 46 and 32 wear-resistant hydraulic oil. Viscosity of hydraulic oil is an important index of hydraulic oil. Low viscosity increases leakage and decreases volumetric efficiency; high viscosity increases viscous friction loss and even causes cavitation or stagnation. Generally, the mobility of hydraulic oil used in hydraulic system is l06m/s (50C).
Characteristics of wear-resistant hydraulic oil:
1. Good Viscosity-Temperature Properties
When hydraulic system works, oil temperature increases with pressure loss. If the viscosity-temperature performance of hydraulic oil is poor, the viscosity will be significantly reduced, resulting in poor lubrication and leakage, affecting the working accuracy. If the hydraulic system starts in winter due to the increase of viscosity, it will affect the start-up. Therefore, in the range of working temperature, the range of viscosity change should be small. Hydraulic oil temperature index is generally above 90.
2. Good rust resistance
When the hydraulic equipment is parked or stored for a long time, the hydraulic components are easy to rust, so the hydraulic oil is required to have good rust-proof performance.
3. Good antioxidant activity
When the hydraulic system works, with the gradual increase of oil temperature, oil is more and more easy to oxidize and deteriorate. Especially at high temperature, the oxidation rate is very fast. Oil oxidation can produce sludge sediment, pollute the system and affect the normal operation of the system.
4. Good anti-emulsification
If water is mixed into the hydraulic oil, the substances with poor stability in the hydraulic oil will produce hydrophilic organic acids and soap, which will be emulsified under the stirring of the pump to reduce lubricity and affect the working performance of the pump and valve.
5. Antifoaming performance is good.
If the hydraulic fluid has foam, it will cause the hydraulic system to crawl and noise.
6. Good Lubrication Performance
The fit clearance of moving parts of hydraulic components is very small. Generally speaking, in order to improve the service life of components, it is necessary to form a high-strength oil film on the moving surface to form liquid lubrication and reduce wear.
7. Solidification point
It is required that the solidification point of hydraulic oil should be lower than the lowest ambient temperature of 10C, otherwise the temperature is too low and the oil content rises, which will affect the start-up and even not work.
8. Good compatibility
In order to avoid deterioration and failure, there should be little or no chemical interaction between oil and various materials.
