The double acting hydraulic cylinder is a hydraulic cylinder that needs to supply two times of fluid (return fluid is also two times) to complete a working cycle. The plunger type hydraulic cylinder cannot be a double acting hydraulic cylinder. The double piston rod hydraulic cylinder is a certain type of double acting hydraulic cylinder, and the combined hydraulic cylinder of piston and plunger and the vane hydraulic cylinder are double acting hydraulic cylinders.
In short, a single acting hydraulic cylinder is connected with only one pipeline between the hydraulic cylinder and the outside, and a double acting hydraulic cylinder is connected with two pipelines. This pipeline is for a hydraulic cylinder.
